WBG ACCESS: PRIVACY MANAGEMENT
Pursuant to EU Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR) and Legislative Decree No. 196, June 30, 2003, as amended, and in general in compliance with the principle of transparency recalled by the GDPR, this policy describes the types of data of Users who consult our web pages and use its services, if any, and the ways in which this data is collected, shared and protected.

This data protection information applies to data processing on the website https://wbg-access.fbk.eu, the website of the Chips JU WBG PL project dedicated to the workpackage WP2 for the management of access requests. The WBG PL project consortium has defined by mean of a Joint Controllers Agreement one Data Controller for each partner. To contact Data Controllers write to:

2. Processing personal data and purposes of processing
Automatically processed data and purpose of processing
When browsing this website, reading its pages, and when downloading the information it contains, the website acquires some navigation data, the transmission of which is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. In addition to this, a third-party website will automatically collect and store some information about the visit.
This information category includes: User’s IP addresses, type of browser used, website access addresses, pages visited within the site, access time, the numerical code indicating the status of the response given by the server and other parameters related to the User’s operating system and computer environment.
These data, which are necessary for the use of web services, are not collected to be associated with identified data subjects, but are used to make the site more useful for its visitors, to obtain aggregate and anonymous statistical information on the use of the site and to monitor its proper functioning. These data could be used to determine liability in the event of cybercrime or actions damaging the site.
Managed when requesting information and activating an Access Request
We offer access to WBG PL capabilities through the https://wbg-access.fbk.eu website. Access requests can be activated using the information reported on the “Access mode” section” and list the mandatory data you have to enter. These include:- Name
- Surname
- Contact email
- Organization - name, Country
The mandatory data are processed in order to start the evaluation of the request, including the eligibility check and the possibility to contact the requester for keeping him/her informed about the evaluation results and, in case of positive evaluation, to exchange all the necessary information to develop the request itself. The personal data we collect is stored with us for as long as is necessary for the performance of the request and to guarantee project accountability. No information about Users/visitors will be sold, shared or used for commercial purposes.
Methods of data processing and data retention
Data is processed mainly using electronic procedures and media and in a lawful, correct, relevant manner, limited to what is necessary to achieve the purposes of the processing, only for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and in any case in accordance with the principles indicated in Article 5 of the GDPR.
Place of processing and communication of personal data: Personal data on the site and related telematic services are processed mainly by the WP2 staff, including referents for each partners. Personal data may also be processed by the providers of the services offered appointed as Data Processors pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR, usually sites in the European Union or in countries for which the Commission has taken a Data Protection Adequacy Decision or, failing that, through the signing with the provider of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for data protection adopted by the European Commission. The data collected will not be disclosed or communicated to third parties, except in the cases provided for by law and, in any case, in the manner permitted by it.
Rights of data subjects: Users (Data subjects) have the right to contact the Data Controller at any time to exercise the rights indicated in Chapter III of the GDPR and, in particular to: ask for confirmation of the effective existence of personal data regarding them; obtain information on the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data has been or will be communicated and, where possible, the retention period; obtain the rectification and erasure of the data; request processing restriction; object the processing at any time. Data subjects also have the right to withdraw their consent at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before the revocation. This is without prejudice to the right to lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority.
The WBG PL Project has defined a Joint Controller Agreement detailing data management and processing rules and Data controllers of the Partners as well as the Data processors. The WBG PL Consortium reserves the right to make, if necessary, appropriate changes to this policy.
This Data Protection Policy may be subject to change. As we continuously develop our services, we reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy in accordance with applicable legal provisions.
